Hypnosis and PTSD/Moral Injury for
Firefighters & First Responders

Look, this shit is hard to talk about, I get it. It doesn't help that spending time looking at it makes you feel weak or compromised, could threaten your work status, and certainly knock some self-image. Un-collapsing the things you have seen and done, because you had to, and how it hangs on you like residue, doesn't have to continue like this.

It's not a combat shower; you can take the time and energy to clean that off of you.

Hypnotherapy Program for First Responders with PTSD & Moral Injury

This specialized six-session program is designed to support first responders processing the lasting effects of trauma—including hypervigilance, rage, emotional numbness and disconnection, flashbacks and nightmares, avoidance, isolation, and feeling stuck in the past.

Secondary issues arising from unresolved trauma can sometimes include relationship difficulty, job performance issues, disconnection from others, alcohol and drug overuse, other addictions and compulsions (gambling, porn, nicotine, etc), insomnia and sleep disorders, guilt/shame/blame, suicidal ideation, self-harm, loss of control/over-exerting control over others.

Using the power of hypnotherapy, we engage the mind’s natural capacity for healing through three therapeutic lenses that complement one another and meet you where you are.

The program, which will be uniquely catered to you, draws from Stress Inoculation Therapy (SIT) to build resilience and coping strategies before, during, and after exposure to stress. It integrates principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to shift unhelpful thought patterns, reframe experiences, and regain a sense of control. Depending on the individual’s needs, we may also incorporate elements of Exposure Therapy, allowing the client to gently and safely reprocess traumatic memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge.

Each session offers a deep dive into these evidence-based approaches, reframed and amplified through hypnotherapy. The goal is to restore balance, reconnect with the present, and equip you with lasting tools to manage the intense demands of your work and personal life.

While we can always choose to work together to address secondary effects of trauma, in order to undertake a specified program of Hypnotherapy for PTSD, a physician or licensed psychotherapist referral with a DSM-V-TR diagnosis of PTSD or CPTSD is required.

Due to the complexity of this issue, I intend to develop an ongoing relationship with your doctors, therapists, and other professionals working in your best interests, and regularly consult regarding your treatment plan and progress.

All of this would be with your signed approval, as I will never share your session information without your express consent.
